Summer Events in Fort Collins
Summer is a special time of year to live in Fort Collins. Enjoy paddle boarding at Horsetooth Reservoir, biking the trails around town or having dinner with friends on one of the many beautiful patios in Old Town. In addition to countless low-key outdoor activities, there are also some wonderful events to look forward to.
Every Tuesday from 5:30pm - dusk between May 10th and September 13th (excluding July 5th) you’ll find 15+ food trucks and live music at City Park. The lines can get pretty long at prime eating time so I’ve had the best luck going on the early or late side. Bring a picnic blanket or chair to relax and listen to music while enjoying some delicious food. Dogs are welcome on leash. Click here for more info.
New Belgium’s Friday Live Music Series and Odell Brewing’s Music Sets
The two biggest breweries in town offer live music at least one night a week throughout the summer. Some of these events are listed on their websites but I find that the best way to stay in the loop is by following New Belgium and Odell on Facebook.
Friday Night Live by Bohemian Nights
This free music series will be held on the outdoor stage in Old Town Square every Thursday from 7-9pm between June 2nd & September 15th, and will feature a diverse lineup of music from Colorado and beyond.
